SB News bureau: Disappointing news for Indian cricket fans. Late legendary country spinner Bishen Singh Bedi. He died at the age of 77. He revolutionized spin bowling in the history of Indian cricket.
He is called the best left-arm spinner in the country. Bedi was seriously ill a couple of years ago. Seber had returned to health. But on this day Indian cricket lost the legendary spinner.

প্রয়াত হলেন ভারতের প্রাক্তন টেস্ট দলের অধিনায়ক বিষেণ সিং বেদী। মৃত্যুকালে তাঁর বয়স হয়েছিল ৭৭ বছর।বছর দুয়েক আগে গুরুতর অসুস্থ হয়েছিলেন বেদী। সেবার সুস্থ হয়ে ফিরেছিলেন। কিন্তু এ দিন কিংবদন্তি স্পিনারকে হারাল ভারতীয় ক্রিকেট।
তার মৃত্যুর খবর নিশ্চিত করেন কেন্দ্রীয় ক্রীড়ামন্ত্রী অনুরাগ ঠাকুর।তিনি জানান, দেশের অন্যতম সেরা প্রাক্তন স্পিনার বিষেণ সিং বেদী আর নেই। আর এটা ভারতীয় ক্রিকেটের জন্য বিরাট একটা ক্ষতি।তার মৃত্যুতে শোকের ছায়া ভারতীয় ক্রিকেট মহলে। তার মৃত্যুতে শোকবার্তা এসেছে বিভিন্ন মহল থেকে।
বিষাণ সিং বেদি ২৫ সেপ্টেম্বর ১৯৪৬ সালে ভারতের অমৃতসরে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। একজন অত্যন্ত দক্ষ বাঁ-হাতি অর্থোডক্স স্পিনার ছিলেন তিনি। তাঁর দুর্দান্ত বোলিং শৈলীর জন্য বিখ্যাত। তিনি ১৯৬৬ সালে তাঁর আন্তর্জাতিক ক্রিকেট যাত্রা শুরু করেন।তিনি অসংখ্য স্পিন বোলারের পরামর্শদাতা হিসেবে কাজ করেছেন এবং ভারতের তরুণ ক্রিকেট প্রতিভা তুলে আনতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করেছেন।

Carse approved as replacement for Topley in England squad
KKNB : The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 has approved Brydon Carse as a replacement for Reece Topley in the England squad.
Carse, who has played 12 ODIs, was named as a replacement as Topley was ruled out of the tournament after breaking his left index finger during England’s match against South Africa on Saturday.
The replacement of a player requires the approval of the Event Technical Committee before the replacement player can be officially added to the squad.
The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 consists of Wasim Khan (ICC General Manager – Cricket and ETC Chair), Chris Tetley (ICC Head of Events), Hemang Amin (Acting CEO - BCCI), Gaurav Saxena (General Manager – Operations, BCCI), Russel Arnold and Simon Doull (Independent Representatives).

SB News bureau: Kabaddi player accused of beating policeman to death. It is known that the player is internationally famous. The incident took place on Sunday night in Punjab's Barnala town. Trouble breaks out between kabaddi players and a restaurant staff at a place called 25 Acres in the city. After receiving the information, the police of City One police man reached the spot. After that, the police started arguing with the kabaddi players. From grumbling it turns into a fight. A kabaddi player allegedly started beating the policeman.
The policeman was seriously injured . Sources said,the policeman later died in the hospital.

On August 19, the puja organizers announced with fanfare the theme of this year's Santosh Mitra Square, Ayodhya's Ram Mandir. Then the entire temple was built in less than two months.Santosh Mitra Square club secretary said, this time their puja budget was a little more than 2 crore rupees. The cost of construction of the original Ram temple in Ayodhya is around 900 crores. And the cost of building the replica of Ram temple in Kolkata is around 2 crore rupees.

SB News bureau: The father was accused of raping a minor girl. A 47-year-old man allegedly raped his 16-year-old daughter for more than a year. Due to this, the minor recently became pregnant. It was only after that that the family came to know about the torture. After this, a complaint has been lodged with the police station. However, the accused is absconding. Police are looking for him. The incident took place in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.

এসবি নিউজ ব্যুরো : ডুয়ার্সের কালচিনি ব্লকে আয়োজন করা হয় ডান্ডিয়া নৃত্যের। এখানে বাঙালিদের থেকে থেকে শুরু করে বিহারবাসীদেরও দেখা যাচ্ছে নবরাত্রি পালন করতে। ৯ দিন ধরে দেবীর নয় রূপের পুজো হয়। শুরু হয় দেবীর শৈলপুত্রী রূপের পুজো দিয়ে।শেষ হয় সিদ্ধিদাত্রীর পুজো করে। অষ্টম দিনে এই ডান্ডিয়া খেলার আয়োজন করা হয়।
কালচিনি সেরাবালী পূজা কমিটির পক্ষ থেকে কালচিনিতে ও হাসিমারা সর্বজনীন নবরাত্রি পুজো কমিটির পক্ষ থেকে হাসিমারাতে ডান্ডিয়া খেলার আয়োজন করা হয়। এই দুই জায়গায় এলাকার যুবক যুবতী, মহিলা,পুরুষেরা এই পুজোয় অংশগ্রহণ করেন।পুজো কমিটির পক্ষ থেকে জানানো হয় ,"বিগত কয়েক বছর ধরে তারা নবরাত্রি পুজোর আয়োজন করছে।নয় দিন নিয়ম মেনে দেবীর নানান রূপের পুজো হয়।
ডান্ডিয়া খেলতে এলাকার সববয়সী মহিলারা প্রতিবার ভিড় জমান। আমাদের খুব ভাল লাগে।"মূলত দেবী দুর্গার সামনে ডান্ডিয়া রাস প্রদর্শন করা হয়। এই ডান্ডিয়া খেলায় ব্যবহার করা ডান্ডিয়া বা লাঠি যা দেবী দুর্গার তরোয়ালের প্রতিনিধিত্ব করে। নৃত্যটি গুজরাতের নবরাত্রির একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ।
*दुर्गा पूजा के बाद विजयादशमी के दिन मनाया जाता है दशहरा उत्सव*
दशहरा या विजयादशमी दुर्गा पूजा का अंतिम दिन है। इस दिन देवी को आंसुओं के साथ विदा किया गया था। इतना ही नहीं, इंतज़ार का एक और साल। दशहरे के दौरान बुरी शक्तियों को नष्ट करने के लिए पूजा की जाती है। दशहरा बुराई पर अच्छाई की जीत का आनंदमय उत्सव है।
जब राम और रावण के बीच युद्ध शुरू हुआ, तो ब्रह्मा की सलाह पर रामचंद्र ने रावण को नष्ट करने के लिए समय से पहले देवी दुर्गा को अराधना किया। इसलिए दशहरा उत्सव दुर्गा पूजा के बाद विजयादशमी के दिन मनाया जाता है।उत्तर प्रदेश के वाराणसी में 200 वर्षों से अधिक समय से रामलीला महोत्सव मनाया जाता रहा है।
रामनगर किले के बगल में गंगा नदी के तट पर, यह कार्यक्रम राम अवतार के जन्म से लेकर दुष्ट राक्षस या रावण के वध तक नाटकों, नृत्यों और यात्राओं के साथ आयोजित किया जाता है।उस यात्रा में रामचन्द्र, सीता और लक्ष्मण पुनः जीवित हो गये। अयोध्या, लंकाराज, अशोक वन के साथ-साथ राम वन की प्रतिकृतियां बनाकर उनका नाट्य रूपांतरण किया गया। दशानन का पुतला बनाकर जलाया जाता है। इसे रावण बध के नाम से जाना जाता है। इसके बाद उत्तर प्रदेश के इस क्षेत्र में रंगीन शुभता की जीत का जश्न मनाने के लिए गंगा में मिट्टी के दीपक प्रवाहित करने की प्रथा है।
